| COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANTS: |
| Cranberry Township is an entitlement
community, which entitles the Township to share in a small portion
of the States Federal Community Development Block Grant funds
each year. The Township has used these funds to repair roads,
build bridges, install play equipment at Morrison Park, conduct
a comprehensive plan, install a traffic signal and Housing Rehabilitation.
The Township has rehabilitated nearly 100 homes in our community,
a help not only to the homeowner, but also to the contractor
and supplier. |

| NEW BUSINESSES: |
The Township welcomed new businesses
to our area. At this time, we are experiencing more growth than
any community within Venango County.-
The Township helps businesses with plan review, sewage and water
service, road specifications, sign requirements, zoning/code
concerns and other issues. The Township encourages businesses
and works to be user friendly and informative. |
